Stoop to Street Litter Campaign

Rowhouses are an iconic part of Baltimore's history, their white marble stoops are a hallmark of the city and a tradition that dates back to the early 1900s. Baltimore has more row homes than almost any other city in the United States, and most of them have front stoops instead of porches. These stoops serve as an extension of the family home, providing a place where residents gather, interact and form neighborhood connections.

Thus, stoops are the perfect bridge between home and community. What better than to start battling trash—right in front of your home! If everyone just tended to their little bit of space (from stoop to street), trash wouldn’t stand a chance!

Need a trash campaign in your city?

Residents play an important part in fighting trash. They have control over their own waste, they can aid in clean-up and report problem areas to municipal waste authorities.
